Welcome to Cologne, the city of cold. I couldn’t get warm. It wasn’t even that cold out....I just couldn’t find a warm place with a heater that was on or working. The whole day consisted of thinking about how cold I was. There was a tiny little heater in the dressing room, but it barely worked. I thought the shower would be a good bet, but the water was luke warm which made things worse. Unfortunately the chilliness affected my ability to capture any great stories. Cologne was like a blip on the radar until showtime. Ahhh... the 500 warm bodies crammed into the small Luxor venue....finally things were heating up. During the show I got so hot I felt like I was melting. I couldn’t wait to get outside and bask in the frigid air. Then I got cold again....
