Copenhagen was not what I expected. I guess I fantasized about being greeted by Hans Christian Andersen with a fresh latte’ and an autographed copy of “The Little Mermaid”, but instead I got out of the bus, made my way upstairs to a room that resembled a dark padded cell in a mental hospital and got locked inside with no coffee or a bathroom. I did however hack some WiFi from somewhere else in the building which passed my hour of solitude rather quickly. There wasn’t a lot to see nearby the venue, so I stayed inside until B.F.’s precore. The precore was held at Amager Beach State Park, bungalow #1....where’s that you ask? We still don’t really know. You can find it on a map, you can see it from the air, but our taxi driver had a twisted way of finding it which ended up costing an arm and a leg. Well, we made it on time, and it turned out to be a stunning location with a great turnout of fans. I’m really getting into this precore thing...It’s a nice little social break from the monotony of tour life.

Unfortunatley Bobby Peru didn’t open this show so the local Vega crew put together a string band with cello and violin which was pretty interesting. Our show was a lot of fun and had some good energy. I got a chance to visit with the crowd a little bit afterward and I’d like to give a shout out to Kogi and friends for being very cool.....literally they needed heavier jackets, it was freezing outside:)
