After a long overnight drive from Copenhagen, we arrived in the strange land known as Luxembourg. I’d been there last summer on tour and my impression of the city was surreal. It’s beautiful and has a fairytale like quality to it......old buildings, cobblestone streets and a massive wall surrounds the city from intruders.

Beauty aside, there are some strange people in Luxembourg. It’s true, and If you don’t believe me, ask anyone from the outside world that has visited Luxembourg and I’ll bet they feel the same way. Have you seen the movie Westworld? The characters are actually robots that malfunction from time to time. I did meet some very nice people in Luxembourg, but they were all commuters from Germany, Belgium and France. It’s the native Luxembourgians who covet their precious gene pool that I’m talkin’ about. Enough said, I’m probably overreacting, I just wanted to feel accepted in the jazz club next to Mesa Verde.
